Perform final testing of audio consoles: component level troubleshooting, verifying specifications, and calibration using Audio Precision signal generator/analyzer, Oscilloscopes, DMM, and Schematics. Product line includes TV-1000, TV-80, TV-600, SP-8, SP-6, SP-5, SP-4, A-6000, A-500, and A-300 on-air consoles. Engineered various customer requested custom circuit modifications, Assisted Engineering department in testing of new product development (TV-1000, TV-80). Performed in-studio refurbishment of TV-600 consoles at various TV stations such as CNN Headline News, The Golf Channel, and NBC Affiliates as lead testing engineer. Also responsible for repairs of customer returns, warranty items.
October 1987 to October 1993	Control Data Corporation Ticketron / Automated Wagering Division Farmingdale, NY Syracuse, NY Field Engineer/Bench Technician: Perform on-site repairs of Point-of-Sales/Polling Terminals for the NYS Lottery, Off-Track Betting (OTB), and Ticketron. Installed and serviced various communications systems. Responsible for essentially all OTB equipment upgrades, including installation of digital bridging, external modems, line transformers, and familiarization of upgrade equipment. Performed bench repairs as necessary on ticket printer units, optical card readers, and client terminals. Update equipment inventory on PC database. Operate and maintain company vehicle.

January    1992	CDC Enterprise Award Award for individual efforts on the EmpireNet Project. This was the first changeover to Data-Over-Voice Modem upgrades to be done on a statewide scale, overseen by the New York State Lottery Comission. Personally upgraded over 100 Lottery Agents with minimal downtime.
